Bob Charley AO Tripe Club Victoria

The November Tripe Club luncheon welcomed celebrity chef, cookery author, teacher and television presenter, Gabriel Gaté. Born in the Loire Valley of France where his father grew the family's fruit and vegetables and made wine from the small family vineyard, Gabriel learned the joys of eating and cooking from his mother and grandmother.

He is the author of twenty-four cookbooks, including French Cuisine for Australians, Good Food for Men, How to Teach Kids to Cook and Recipes for a Great Life (co-written with Dr Rob Moodie).  His latest book, Delicieux, is a collection of over 200 French regional recipes.
